Grow Therapy NV is a boutique pediatric therapy clinic in Southern Las Vegas, specializing in working with medically complex patients with feeding and swallowing disorders. We are searching for a passionate pediatric occupational therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team (ST,PT,OT) as the lead occupational therapist. The ideal candidate has demonstrated leadership skills and is seeking a position for future growth within the company.

Position Summary

We are looking for a lead pediatric occupational therapist who is trained in feeding. In this role you will start off with part-time hours and quickly transition to full-time, by evaluating and assessing new patients. The position includes home and clinic visits, with the majority of our clients being seen in-home. In addition to treating a diverse patient caseload, the lead occupational therapist role will also include being part of Grow Therapy NV’s leadership team.

The leadership team will be collaborating with the CEO regarding researching and developing the first intensive pediatric feeding program here in Las Vegas! As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in helping with sensory regulation before or after feeds, positioning support for feeding and AAC, and self feeding skills.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assessment of new and referred patients that require habilitation and rehabilitation services which includes; providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions.
  • Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient’s capacity and tolerance under the direction of the referring Physician.
  • Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record the patient’s condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate occupational therapy method.
  • Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
  • Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely billing records to meet state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
  • Serve as the direct report and point of contact for the occupational therapy team.
  • Responsible for managing patients’ orthic needs and assistive devices.

Required Certification/Licensure

  • Current Nevada license as a registered Occupational Therapist
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid Nevada Driver’s License and automobile insurance
  • Active CAQH profile
  • Professional Liability Insurance

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $65.00 – $75.00 per hour
