The Position:

We’re looking for a therapist/counselor (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LAC, LAMFT) candidate.

Compensation:

The pay for this position is negotiable and based on experience. The employment structure is flexible and based on the contract worker framework.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in counseling (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LAC, LAMFT) or Doctorate’s degree in psychology (PhD, PsyD) with post-graduate training and supervision.
  • Holds active Arizona state licensure.
  • Holds active malpractice liability insurance.
  • Specific fund of knowledge in all areas of psychotherapy and trauma treatments.
  • 5+ years experience working in mental health, either inpatient or outpatient.
  • No history of state board disciplinary action or sanction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with exposure to some data management software experience.
  • Proficient in EMR/EHR platforms.
  • Proficient in completing clinical notes with 24-hours.
  • Experience addressing any patient’s medical conditions or symptoms, including advanced life support certification.
  • Experience with operating a medical/mechanical device.
  • Travel to more than one office location.
  • Able to work in-office and remote virtual office.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor a patient for psychiatric and mental health symptoms.
  • Provide psychotherapy intervention and respond effectively in an emergency situation.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Explain and administrative procedures to patients.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Be courteous and tactful with patients, visitors, and the public.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Follow established treatment and office procedures.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy regarding all details.
  • Physically able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend.
  • Visual and auditory dexterity.
  • Provide medical coverage to other licensed professionals.


The Location:

Interview will take place in our Gilbert, AZ office. Candidates must be willing to work at other locations (Scottsdale, Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek).
