About Us

Lending Hands of Care provides Outpatient Mental Health (Individual Therapy, Family Therapy and Group Therapy Services) and Rehabilitative Mental Health (Basic Skills Training and Psychosocial Rehabilitation) in accordance with Nevada State Regulations. The evidence-based practices followed for these services closely align with Medicaid Service Manual Chapter 400 and the relationship with quality and well-educated providers that meet or exceed the standards of their licensure.

Job Duties

  • Conducting initial consultations to gather patient information
  • Assessing patients’ emotional and mental health and develop treatment plans to meet them
  • Asking questions and listening to help patients explore their thoughts and feelings
  • Leading patients through mental exercises and role-playing activities when beneficial
  • Counseling and advising patients on issues of importance to them
  • Intervening with emergency care techniques and protocols when patients are in crisis
  • Providing referrals for additional care or services when required
  • Maintaining detailed confidential records
