NGHS is currently seeking a Physical Therapist in Gainesville – System PRN

Job Summary: Provides medically prescribed therapy within NGHS’s programs to help restore function; prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part; and help the patient to reach maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Provides care/service that meets the developmental needs of patients across the life span as appropriate to the patient population and as indicated on the skills and competency. This position will care for patients in the child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups. Employee performs clinical duties in accordance with population specific guidelines and adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as outlined in policy and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current license holder of the Georgia Board.
• Bachelor’s Degree. Graduate of an approved school for a Physical Therapy
• 1-year Internship Preferred

• Occasional standing/walking
• Occasional pushing/pulling
• Occasional intensive work, requires reading, writing, & talking
