We are looking for an experienced Massage therapist to help our clients relax and relieve stress. You will assess and analyze your clients’ needs, using techniques such as Swedish, reflexology, trigger point therapy and deep tissue. The main goal is to provide professional treatments that are safe for clients, relaxing and soothing. As our Massage therapist, we expect you “to help clients improve their circulation, relieve anxiety and reduce muscle pain by applying massage strokes with both hands”.
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic massage to clients under supervision of a healthcare professional .
- Review, interpret and evaluate client medical history.
- Ask appropriate questions of client, set goals and evaluate therapeutic outcomes.
- Provide massage using specialized techniques and equipment .
- Use a variety of treatment approaches based on client’s needs and preferences .
- Provide massages in homes, hospitals, nursing homes, hotels or any other place where client requires a massage.
- Demonstrate good communication skills with the client., using verbal cues and body language.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $70.00 – $100.00 per hour
