Job Summary:
Under the direction of R.N., scrub for surgery, assist in care of surgical
patients, manage and care for supplies and equipment related to surgery, able to address age related needs for all patients.
Job Specification:
Minimum Education Required: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
Minimum Experience Required: Experience preferred; must complete orientation for O.R.
Licensure/Certification Required: Certification as Surgical Technologist preferred, but not required. Certification in basic life support for the health care provider.
Skills required (if applicable): Knowledge of sterile technique, sterilization, familiar with surgical instruments and their uses.
