WeCare Centers is actively seeking motivated Speech Pathologist Team Members for our Skilled Nursing Facilities in Rochester, NY.
Summary:
Looking for a Speech Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Rochester. We are offering competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefit package.
Duties:
- Provide quality SLP services, including evaluating patients, screening, initiating referrals, obtaining data and follow through with plan of care.
- Completes timely documentation including progress notes, screen reports, daily notes, and discharge summaries.
- Knowledgeable in short term and long term SLP care.
- Instruct patients as well as family members and staff in goals, progress, and appropriate therapeutic techniques.
- Ensures compliance with protocols and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathologist Program
- Active License and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Current NY State license in Speech and Language Pathology
- Experience in skilled nursing/ long term care settings preferred
