AdviniaCare is in search for a Regional Clinical Nurse to service the MA region.The Regional Clinical Nurse collaborates with the facility Administrator and Director of Nursing to ensure excellent survey outcomes and exceptional quality of care for residents. Also works collaboratively with the assigned Regional Director of Nurses. The Regional Clinical Nurse will partner with facilities as the primary clinical resource.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with Director of Nursing to reach positive outcomes.
- Conducts facility reviews including mock surveys, to assess compliance with Federal and State regulations.
- Work with facility during survey.
- Conducts assigned clinical audits.
- Writes clinical plan of correction.
- Ensure Policy and Procedures are implemented.
- Mentor Directors of Nursing in MA.
- Experience in recruiting, training and managing people in healthcare.
- Ability to build rapport with management and residents.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking.
- Performs all related duties as required.
Clinical:
- Quality assurance of interdisciplinary clinical process.
- Provide relevant education information to facility nursing teams to enable them to make solid clinical choices.
- Implement specific learning activities and formal educational programs.
- Identify trends in resident care and work with facility teams on quality improvement programs.
- Evaluate nursing and clinical practices for consistency.
Management:
- Apply leadership skills to assist and direct others towards defined goals.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with other internal staff and external consultants.
- Assist in the interview process for Director of Nursing positions.
- Assist in analysis and direction of the nursing department budget.
- Assist in analysis of nursing labor hours.
Requirements:
- RN required/BSN preferred with 3 years of experience.
- Must have DNS experience and long-term care/nursing home experience.
- Must have strong clinical background/knowledge.
- Ability to work in a face-paced environment.
