Registered Nurse – North Central Public Health District – The Dalles, OR

North Central Public Health District is looking for a Registered Nurse to provide quality public health care on an individual and population based level in our Reproductive Health, STD, and Communicable Disease programs. This position requires a high level of critical thinking and the ability to work autonomously, providing direct care to patients through standing orders and utilizing the Nursing Process. NCPHD serves the counties of Wasco and Sherman in the Columbia Gorge. The position is full-time (37.5 hour work week) + great benefits. Salary Range: $4,942.23 – $6,009.30 / month. Note: Would be willing to entertain a part-time position working 3 to 4 days a week.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must hold a valid, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Oregon; Have an understanding of and experience with population-based health practice; Experience working as a member of a team; Understand the core functions of Public Health and essential services as they relate to population-based health practice; Must have a valid driver’s license; Must pass a background check.

Pay: $4,942.23 – $6,009.30 per month
