A fast-paced Cardiology practice in Frederick, MD is searching for a Medical Assistant with the necessary credentials, i.e., CMA, CCMA, or RMA.
Responsible for assisting in the care of patients, by rooming the patient, confirming the purpose and documenting the visit in the EHR. Obtains & documents the vital signs, reconciliation of the medication list, EKG, prepares patient for and explains ETT stress testing, and the monitoring of a patient, i.e., Holters & Sleep Studies.
Attends & participates in department staff meetings. Participates in all in-service educational sessions.
