Sign- On Bonus & Relocation Bonus Criteria:
- $5000 Sign-on Bonus – To be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position.
- Previous CentraCare/Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare/Carris for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
- $5000 Relocation Bonus- Must move within 30 miles of location and previously live over 50 miles from primary work location.
What you will do:
- Find your purpose providing patient services by performing radiographic procedures using existing imaging equipment!
- Perform a variety of procedures consisting of diagnostic X-Ray, CT, MRI, Surgical and Pain management procedures with CR, EKG’s, Holter Monitors, stress testing procedures, and DEXA’s.
- Assist in performing quality assurances in the department.
- Utilize independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
- Perform a variety of technical procedures on patients of all ages
- Apply ionizing radiation to provide diagnostic results for the purposes of patient care.
- Patients of all ages served.
- Support and implement patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.
- Demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.
- Exercises professionalism and apply principles of radiation protection in the performance of such procedures.
- Provides essential patient care within established principles and guidelines.
- Knowledgeable of life support measures.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 72 hours per two week pay period, 8 hour shifts between the hours of 7am-8pm with rotating call for nights, weekend, and holidays, will rotate with 5 other staff.
What you need:
- Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training course in an AMA approved school and meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT.
- At least 1 year of experience in performing general x-ray/imaging preferred.
- ARRT Certified ( American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or ARRT eligible, must be within 6 months.
- A new graduate from an approved AMA school will have six months to successfully pass ARRT Registry
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified required per established policy.
