Medical Assistant – Community Blood Center of the Ozarks – Bentonville, AR

Phlebotomist Responsibilities:

• Paid on the job training is provided to review health history questions, perform vital signs, hematocrit test, and perform phlebotomy.
• Travel as a team to blood drives at high schools, colleges, and local businesses.
• Perform phlebotomy to save lives in 40+ local hospitals.
• Seeking reliable applicants with excellent customer service skills
• Seeking applicants who are compassionate about patient/donor care.

Hiring Schedule:

• Monday-Friday set schedule
• Monday-Thursday 10:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

• Avg. 35-38 hours per week

Training Program:

• Monday-Friday at the CBCO main headquarters located at 220 W. Plainview Rd. Springfield, MO 65810.
• Training program is 10 weeks tentatively
• Hotel provided, mileage reimbursement, and meal vouchers are provided by CBCO.
• The training schedule is Monday-Friday varied shifts. Must be available 4:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. to schedule a shift.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.

• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Must follow the CBCO Covid vaccination policy
• Must have a valid Arkansas Driver’s License, clean driving record, and age 21+ to be approved on the agency’s drivers insurance

• Experience as a Medical Assistant or phlebotomist preferred.

• Must be able to stand continuously for a minimum of six hours.
• Able to lift 25-30 pounds.
