We’re looking for part-time technician assistants to join our team for both morning and afternoon shifts. No previous veterinary experience is required as this is an entry level position. Tech assistants help our doctor and technicians by restraining patients, preparing diets, walking dogs and caring for boarding cats. Light reception duties include handling payments, answering phones and greeting clients and their pets. Vacuuming, mopping, cleaning kennels and maintaining the general cleanliness of the building are key tasks of this position. The right candidate will be organized, motivated, work well with a team, be flexible in scheduling, enjoy working with the public (even difficult folks,) have a genuine love of all animals and be able to lift 40# independently.
Hourly wage is dependent upon experience. We offer other excellent benefits including a generous pet care benefit for up to 3 pets after 90 days.
