Registered Nurse – El Rio Community Health Center – Tucson, AZ

The Registered Nurse serves as part of the team providing quality healthcare to El Rio patients. In this role, the Registered Nurse provides direct patient care, both clinical and non-clinical within the scope of practice for a Registered Nurse under the Arizona State Board of Nursing and policies and procedures set by El Rio Community Health Center.

The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process, collaborating with the physicians and interdisciplinary team members and provides physical and psychological support to patients and their families. The Registered Nurse works under the general supervision and review of the Health Center Manager or Associate Health Center Manager at the clinic where he/she is assigned. A Registered Nurse consults with the supervisor for resolution or direction of any work problems involving departures from the scope of practice, standard policies, interpretations, or procedures.

Education and Experience:

Degree or Diploma as a Registered Nurse form an accredited school of nursing; Minimum of one year experience with hands-on patient care nursing, either in a hospital or clinic setting;

License and Registrations:

Current Registered Nurse License in good standing from Arizona Board of Nursing Current First Aid and CPR certification If applicable, equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, and must be directly related to the functions and responsibilities of the job.
