JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting providers and staff
- Rooming patients
- Basic patient care duties
- Collecting specimens
- Cleaning and restocking exam rooms
- Ordering supplies
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/OTHER:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CCMA certificate or at least 1 year of experience as a medical assistant required
- Clinic experience, preferred
- World-class patient-service focus
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- 10-key data entry experience
- Commitment to our mission
- Willingness to learn and grow
Systems/Software Requirements include:
- Ability to use web browsers and office equipment (fax and scanner)
- Electronic Medical Record experience, preferred
Computer Skills
- Ability to use web browsers and office equipment (fax and scanner)
- Electronic Medical Record experience, preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Clinical Medical Assistant Certification by an accredited agency, if certified
- Current CPR Certification and all required renewals.
Travel and Schedule
- Willing and able to travel to clinic sites in Tyler, Athens, and Jacksonville, as needed
- Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, as needed
