JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting providers and staff
  • Rooming patients
  • Basic patient care duties
  • Collecting specimens
  • Cleaning and restocking exam rooms
  • Ordering supplies

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/OTHER:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CCMA certificate or at least 1 year of experience as a medical assistant required
  • Clinic experience, preferred
  • World-class patient-service focus
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • 10-key data entry experience
  • Commitment to our mission
  • Willingness to learn and grow

Systems/Software Requirements include:

  • Ability to use web browsers and office equipment (fax and scanner)
  • Electronic Medical Record experience, preferred

Computer Skills

  • Ability to use web browsers and office equipment (fax and scanner)
  • Electronic Medical Record experience, preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Clinical Medical Assistant Certification by an accredited agency, if certified
  • Current CPR Certification and all required renewals.

Travel and Schedule

  • Willing and able to travel to clinic sites in Tyler, Athens, and Jacksonville, as needed
  • Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, as needed
