Respiratory Therapist – PRN – Indianapolis Rehabilitation Hospital – Carmel, IN

Indianapolis Rehabilitation Hospital, a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital, is located at 1260 City Center Drive in Carmel, IN. The hospital is operated by Nobis Rehabilitation Partners and brings approximately 150 jobs to the community across multiple therapy disciplines, rehab nursing, and hospital support team members.

Position Summary:

Responsible for administering safe and competent respiratory care as ordered per physician, monitoring mechanical ventilation, administering medications, patient assessment, understanding ramifications of hemodynamic monitoring, understanding blood work results, monitoring, teaching, and training.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist for state licensure agency. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames
