Job Qualifications:

Must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan, and CPR

Must have excellent assessment, planning, organization, communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to communicate orally and through written reports and other documents relating to resident, staff and others.

Must be able to express self clearly and concisely in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families, and staff members.

Care and Services:

Demonstrates the knowledge and clinical expertise required to effectively complete all nursing activities in the facility or the units to which assigned.

Reviews and implements all nursing procedures and systems relative to the unit (s).

Assesses and evaluates the systems which facilitate the delivery of quality Resident care.

Provides one to one education to nursing staff as needed to improve level of care, documentation, and adherence to state and federal regulations.

Conducts rounds several times per shift to evaluate the quality of care provided, identify changes in condition, and assist residents and staff as needed to address care or service needs.

Reviews 24 hour report at the beginning of each shift, assesses residents with changes in condition, and follows up with physicians as needed to address concerns.

Uses a systematic approach to provide individualized nursing care.

Performs nursing assessments regarding the health status of the Resident.

Develops a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.

Selects and institutes appropriate nursing intervention, which might be required to stabilize a Resident’s condition and/or prevent complications.

8 or 12 hour shifts available Part Time and Full Time

Pay: $33.00 – $34.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • Rotating weekends
