Sparrow Massage Sedona is a local, independent company welcoming new therapists to be part of a close team providing high quality, professional, outcall massage services within Sedona, AZ area.

It is often last-minute weekend & holiday work, and requires a relationship with your phone, excellent communication skills and the ability to be your own boss as well. Commitment and comradery with our core team is essential as well.

With 15 years experience in the business as a therapist mentorship, and further training is available for those just beginning their career. High commission rate, community support, fun, and the ability to direct your own schedule and be yourself in your job are some of the perks of this position. The owner is also a massage therapist and is working right there with you.

Your responsibility is to show up on-time, be prepared, ready and willing to work, and to be excellent at what you do. High quality bodywork, service and communication skills is of utmost importance as well as the personality to thrive in this work and as a team mate.

This exchange requires people with high integrity, enthusiasm, excellent communication skills and the desire to be exemplary. New & less experienced therapists are encouraged to apply. This position would be ideal for someone who is ambitious, growth oriented, willing to learn, and/or just starting out. As this is an Independent Contractor 1099 position, you will need to provide your own insurance with the business added as additional insureds, and be licensed in the state of AZ. You will be your own boss and have the creative freedom to be yourself in your sessions, however with this freedom there is a greater responsibility. Workload is dependent on season, on your self-determined availability & ability to communicate effectively. The current estimate of work available is anywhere from 1-6 appointments per week with a possibility for more. Your starting wage will be $96 for 60 minutes and $114 for 90 minutes plus you keep all your tips.

We provide only mobile services and all work is hands-on. Please do not apply if you are not willing to do outcall work that is full-body firm Swedish and Therapeutic Deep Tissue sessions. No exceptions, this is what is in demand and needed. Masks and vaccines are NOT required.

Requirements:

• Cigarette/Alcohol/Substance free with no abuse issues, absolutely NO exceptions.
• Reliable, dependable and excellent communication REQUIRED
• Attention to detail in working with clients on location REQUIRED
• Mindfulness around creating your schedule and being available when you schedule yourself available REQUIRED
• Working cell phone and attentiveness to it REQUIRED
• Google Calendar and MassageBook Appointment software apps REQUIRED
• A decent, working vehicle REQUIRED
• Current AZ Massage License and Liability Insurance REQUIRED
• Your own table, table warmer, soap, hand towel, sheets & oil
• Transparency, non-avoidance & commitment to honesty when/if issues arise
• Willingness to have occasional, fun spirited meetings/check-ins with me and/or the team of therapists
