We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor to join our expanding practice. In this position you will meet with patients, analyze their mental health status, and develop a course of therapy to address their issues. You may work with patients who have substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, or a mix of complex issues. You should have some experience with a wide variety of patients and conditions. Our applicant needs a master’s degree and a license from Virginia. Clinical experience is also a requirement.
Licensed Professional Counselor Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet with patients to determine their status
- Develop a course of therapy for treatment
- Meet with patients regularly and provide them with the tools they need to overcome their issues
- Provide references to other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists
Licensed Professional Counselor Requirements and Qualifications
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a similar field
- State counseling license
- Clinical experience
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and listening skills

Pay: $65.00 – $90.00 per hour
