Behavioral Coach – Dr. Cyndy Hayes – Burlington, NJ

We are in search of a compassionate and responsible individual with experience in direct care to be part of a team which provides assistance in various areas of life for a young man on the autism spectrum. The goal is to create a safe, healthy and joyful life. The role includes guidance with daily living skills, management of self-control and every day needs in the home environment through execution of plan and programs to support daily activity. Staff should be able to respond calmly and positively to problematic behaviors that take place during the day. The individual should be a team player and be eager and willing to accept feedback. The role includes taking data and communicating that data through written reports.

We are looking for staff to add to our robust and impressive home therapy team designed to assist a young man with special needs live a fulfilling and balanced life. This role would include rewarding opportunities to help implement daily activities and programs designed to increase purpose and joy in his life. Through the use of ABA and Compassionate Care principles directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who also has experience with other sensory supports. You would create healthy change and shape more functional uses for communication of wants and needs. In addition to creating a deep and genuine connection with the client, you will also become part of a close knit team who works together to incorporate research based techniques to everyday tasks. With a goal of increasing independence, balance and communication, the sky’s the limit and we would love for you to be part of the journey!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement life plans, programming and feedback provided by the management team
  • Engage consistently in a positive and productive demeanor
  • Participate in discussion with management to help support necessary changes for client’s well-being
  • Identify and collect various forms of data as well as make decisions based on the data with the assistance of management
  • Communicate daily through written reports to management team on target areas of interest
  • Contribute to house chores including cooking and cleaning
  • Administer medications as advised
  • Participate in trainings and behavioral discussions to further expand your knowledge for the betterment of the client
  • Engage in community outings promoting safety, recreation and behavior management
  • Flexibility in schedule to support the 24/7 care needed for client

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

  • 12 hour shift
