Currently seeking a Director of Nursing for a small skilled nursing facility in the western suburbs area. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience working in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Nursing.

Responsibilities of the Director or Nursing-

Administer nursing services to patients who live in the facility
Direct, plan, and coordinate service activities of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing staff in rendering resident care
Interpret policy and regulations to all nursing staff and ensures compliance
Analyze and evaluate nursing and related services rendered to ensure the best quality of resident care Serve as a member of the senior management team
Develop and maintain relationships with patients and families

Requirements of the Director of Nursing

Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois
3-5 years of experience working in Assisted Living, Home Health or Skilled nursing.
Good interpersonal and communication skills preferred
Strong knowledge of Rules and Regulations that pertain to Assisted Living
