SUMMARY

The Clinical Licensed Lead provides case management reviews and clinical oversight of therapeutic and other services. Supports the development of and oversees the implementation of service plans for individuals served. Monitors adherence to treatment plans; reviews placement disruptions, internal movement of clients, and on-call activity. Participates in the review and matching of new clients and investigates internal incidents as required. Regularly reviews client records to monitor home visits, maintain quality of documentation, and ensure compliance. May supervise staff.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:

  • Provides case management reviews and clinical oversight of therapeutic and other services.
  • Consults to all treatment teams and psych staff on assessment and interpretation as needed.
  • Establishes liaisons with consulting staff (physicians, psychologist, etc.) and mentors to ensure coordinated service delivery to client.
  • Provides individual and family therapy as needed.
  • May assess and assign intakes; monitor daily census and any corresponding referral sources.
  • Ensures program compliance with all corporate and legal requirements.
  • Abides to accreditation standards for disciplines and department in accordance with state and other guidelines as required.
  • Participates in programmatic meetings regarding program development, policies, and procedures, program evaluator, etc. as needed.
  • May assist in the development and implementation of residential programs and oversight of clinical services
  • Assembles program statistics for reporting as needed and provides necessary documentation for billing and mentor payroll if necessary.
  • Ensures development of comprehensive training for clinical staff, mentors, program participates and their families as needed
  • May develop and implement crisis intervention emergency procedures, oversee Utilization Review, Quality Improvement, investigations, internal evaluations and participate in emergency coverage system.
  • Assists in the overall management of the program and staff as directed.
  • May oversee recruitment, matching, contracting, performance evaluations and reimbursement for mentors.
  • May supervises and oversees counselors and therapeutic services to ensure quality evaluations and services for MENTOR program participants.
  • Provides on-call support by participating in on-call rotation as scheduled and providing consultation with team members as assistance is needed.
  • Performs other related duties and activities as required.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • May supervise assigned staff including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training.
  • May make recommendations on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions.
  • Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities.


Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job:

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Human Services required.
  • Five years of related experience with one year experience in clinical supervision required.


Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

  • LASAC, LAC, LCSW, LMSW license required.


Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to multi-task, solve problem and collaborate with our system partners.
  • Good organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.


Other Requirements:

  • Travel as needed.


Physical Requirements:

  • Medium Work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
