Sterile Processing Technician II – Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare – Tallahassee, FL

Responsibilities:

Responsible for decontaminating, cleaning, inspecting and processing reusable Operating Room supplies.

Reports:

RN/Nurse Manager; Supervisor/Sterile Processing

Supervises:

None

Qualifications:

Required Education:

Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Experience:

Minimum: Six (6) months in sterile processing or relevant experience OR completion of a qualified nationally recognized sterile processing class.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

Current certification in one of the following required: Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician Certification (Certified SPD Tech) by the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSDPD) or Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) by the International Association of HealthCare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM).
