Medical Lab Sales Executive – Rapid Healthcare Laboratory – Elgin, IL

Who we are:

We are a brand new reference Laboratory in Elgin IL doing General Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology and Molecular testing. We are looking for innovative, enthusiastic, customer service-oriented sales and marketing team players that want to take a business to the next level! We are looking for someone with experience in the healthcare sales field as well as someone that can not only develop business but also be a great team player. This position requires someone with outstanding communication skills to meet with potential and current clients.

Position Description

This is a sales position that requires daily face-to-face meetings and sales calls with physicians, for the purpose of generating business by establishing and maintaining professional relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize the number of test orders from key physicians in order to meet sales plan goals and achieving business growth.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with physicians.
  • Complete daily sales calls with potential and existing clients for purposes of generating new business.
  • Understanding all of UMed Diagnostics lines of service lines and educate clients on our services.
  • Create a marketing plan by assessing community needs, marketing strategy/objectives, identifying key accounts and the development of specific marketing action items with measurable goals.
  • Develop new and ongoing referral relationships as well as an outreach plan with identified objectives and strategies including reaching potential new business and improving current service offerings to local physicians.
  • Record and report daily activity, referral patterns, client interactions, communication preferences, issues and resolutions, budget and record expenses,
  • Create monthly and quarterly reports identifying trends, issues, and resolutions. Work with other team members to make recommendations for process improvements and developments.
  • Coordinate activities related to physician/community events, including but not limited to, CME conferences, office educational meetings, advisory groups, and trade shows in order to cultivate physician relationships.
  • Use Innovative approaches to existing and future target markets to build and maintain census.
  • Perform community outreach activities including presentations, exhibits and one-on-one contact with community groups, and coordinate special events to enhance our visibility in the community and generate new relationships
  • Maintain and update the marketing materials, presentations, and policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and maintain up to date information on market area and competitors including pricing, census information, product information and sales strategies.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong knowledge of the company’s products, competitive products, and market.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Document all interactions and transactions pertaining to doctor’s offices.
  • Any other duties assigned by the management team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
