Responsibilities:
Accountable for preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies for safe patient use during anesthetic, including stocking anesthesia cars/rooms and equipment, cleans and sterilizes equipment, and checks equipment for malfunctions. Communicates with and assists Anesthesiologists, CRNA, and Managers.
Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
High school diploma/GED.
One (1) year experience as an Anesthesia Technician or similar role.
Familiarity with anesthesia equipment/supplies, various modalities, treatments and medications.
PREFERRED: Graduation from an Anesthesia Technician training program.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Current BLS certificate.
PREFERRED: Certified Anesthesia Technician or Anesthesia Technologist.
