Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse
Position Overview: Responsible for providing basic medical attention to patients and assessing their wellbeing as part of a larger medical team. Their duties include checking vital signs, recording a patient’s medical history and assisting patients with hygiene.
Position setting will be a Nursing Home/Rehabilitation Facility/School/similar environment (Skilled Nursing).
Contracts available throughout Pennsylvania the following locations:
- Boothwyn, Bridgeville, Gettysburg, Langhorne, Macungie, Paoli, Philadelphia, Pottstown, Warrington, Wayne
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient’s vitals and record them in their file
- Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each patient, including bathing, feeding and dressing
- Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication
- Update patient records in a confidential manner
- Evaluate the patient’s wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff
- Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families
- Change dressings and bandages, ensuring patients are healing properly
- Move patients from wheelchairs, beds and gurneys
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid LPN licensure
- Must possess a valid CPR/BLS card
- Must have ability to successfully pass background check
- New grads accepted!
Duration: 8-to-13-week contract periods
Schedule: Primarily 40 hours/week (day and night shifts available)

During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
Physical Demands: The physical demands listed below, though not fully inclusive, are that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The employee is frequently required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
