The Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor provides direct instruction to students, assuring all required regulatory education is delivered in accordance with state-specific requirements. Ensures NA students are prepared to pass state-required testing to become Certified Nursing Assistants. The ideal candidate must have an RN Or LPN license. Must be DOH approved CNA/NAC instructor. The candidate can communicate effectively in a classroom setting. Knowledge of materials (subjects) that will be taught to students and the ability to use and share the curriculum and candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently and in small teams. We are willing to assist in getting your DSHS instructor approval if you are interested in the position.

Qualifications CNA Instructor RN or LPN:

  • Must have a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in Washington
  • DOH approved CNA/NAC instructor.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and motivational skills are essential to success.

Responsibilities:

  • CNA/NAC instructor will instruct students according to the curriculum designed to assist students in building knowledge and clinical skills.
  • Assures all instruction is delivered by state regulations and maintains all compliance-related documentation
  • Teaches assigned CNA/NAC classes using effective strategies and principles of adult education.
  • Ensure all state regulations are met in the course curriculum and student-instructor ratios
  • Maintains accurate and appropriate student, instructor, and course documentation
  • Ensure students satisfactorily demonstrate skills before performing with patients or residents.
  • Provides direct supervision and observation of all student’s clinical experiences
  • Evaluates the knowledge and skills of students before verifying completion of the course

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
