At The Villas of Jackson, our assisted living community has staff and programs designed to support and assist residents with daily living and basic care in an apartment setting. We do this by providing residents with a full calendar of social activities, housekeeping, linen services, apartment maintenance, restaurant-style dining, a salon, an exercise and wellness room and local transportation.
For residents needing more support, our professionally trained staff aid with medication, bathing, dressing and other necessary tasks throughout the day. We can also coordinate with outside services, such as rehabilitation providers, and monitor residents to ensure their health and mobility. We work hard to see that you or your loved one gets the care and support he or she needs and deserves. We do this to promote the enjoyment of a quality life without the added stress of daily chores.

Training:
EssentiALZ Alzheimers Training offered
Dietary cook/aide
Prepare meals and desserts for the staff and residents
Ensure that all food is prepared properly and safe to eat (cooked/served at the proper temperature)
Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation level of the kitchen
Ensure that all food is stored properly and kept at the proper temperature
Wash and sanitize all dishes, pans, cups, cooking/eating utensils, etc.
Sweep and mop the kitchen nightly
Keep snacks on hand for the residents
Record all food, refrigerator, freezer, and dishwasher temps
Follow the menu and recipes and directed by the dietitian
Properly waste any food that is past the expiration date
Date all food when it is put away after being delivered
Date all food when it is opened
Properly label all food
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
