Legacy Health Services is looking to hire a Billing Specialist to work at the Corporate Office in Parma. The ideal candidate will have Long Term Care and Skilled Nursing Billing experience and a background in Healthcare accounting is preferred but not required! Experience with Quadax and Billing Co-Insurances required. Experience with Point Click Care and Insurance verification, authorization needed.:
Experience with managed medicaid products. Helpful to have a background in case management or social work. Medicaid experience important.:
As the Corporate Billing Coordinator you will assist the Skilled Nursing Facilities Business Office with their billing and reimbursement rules and regulations relating to long-term care.
Responsibilities include:
- Knowledge of; Medicare, Medicaid, managed Care, COB, Workers comp and CO-insurance billing
- Identifying and resolving unpaid claims
- Identifying Payor Source through the Insurance Portals
- Proficient in; MS Office Word, Email, Excel, Internet based programs including Availity, Quadax, MITS, DDE Point Click Care and EDI Billing.
- Medicare, Managed Care, and Co-insurance billing
Education Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience in long-term care billing required
- Experience in health care accounting preferred but not required
