Our busy medical practice is currently seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Licensed practical nurses (LPN) provide to assist our Doctor Antony George MD, who is a specialist in occupational medicine (BWC, Worker’s Comp), non-surgical sports and spine, and musculoskeletal injuries with documenting patient medical records and taking patient history/vitals. The successful applicant will be responsible for documenting accurate and detailed information on patient visits. He is on call with Southwest General Hospital’s emergency room for injuries. Responsibilities
- Interview patients and document basic medical history
- Must have knowledge of all Bureau of Worker’s Comp forms
- Update and file medical records and insurance reports
- Arrange referrals, laboratory and radiology services
- Update patient charts and follow up by phone appropriately
- Maintain other office workflows as necessary
Skills
- Medical Scribe/Medical Assistant working experience required
- Occupational Medicine/Sports Medicine background helpful but trainable
- Knowledge of medical office systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software

Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour
