We are looking for Registered Nurses (RN) to join our Adult Surgical Oncology Progressive Care team at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. This posting is for a Full-Time Days position.
This unit has a 4:1 patient ratio and is accountable for providing care to post-surgical oncology patients who require advanced care. As a Registered Nurse for the Adult Surgical Oncology PCU, you will:
- Provide quality nursing care to the patient in the Oncology Department
- Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services. Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care.
- Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care.
- Serves as patient advocate and responsible for assisting the Interventional Radiologists

- Less than 1 year EKG Experience
