A Vascular surgical practice and surgery center in search of a billing coordinator who will have the following responsibilities:
1. Critical thinking and ability to work as part of a collaborative team are essential.
2. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate claim submissions.
3. Collaborate with management to ensure deadlines are completed within the necessary time frame.
4. Communication with patient for insurance and payment collection.
5. Correction and re-submission of rejected or invalid claims.
6. Posting Payments
7. Understand CPT and ICD-10 codes and proper modifiers.
8. Responsible to assist with account revenue and account receivables.
9. Crafting Strong Denial and Appeal Letters
10. Submission of claims and follow up with carriers, use of Navinet , Availity, and other portals.
11. Strong Anatomy knowledge for proper coding
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $28.00 per hour
