Medical Billing Collector – Dermatology – REMOTE – Integrated Dermatology Group – Remote

Our fast-growing healthcare company is looking for an experienced Medical Billing Collector with the ability to bring all accounts to satisfactory resolution. Medical Billing Collectors are expected to problem solve and take all necessary actions to resolve all claims while exceeding expectations on all established productivity Goals. In addition to resolving all outstanding claims, the Medical Billing Collectors are expected apply their excellent customer service skills while acting as the single point of contact for all assigned practices. Duties:

• ‪Use all billing systems data to identify opportunities to increase collections
• Exceed KPI and productivity goals for all unpaid, underpaid, and aged encounters
• Work with Revenue Cycle Manager and Practice Managers to resolve all open issues
• Track and report all issues that delay claims resolution for assigned practices
• Work with all members of the Revenue Cycle Department in a coordinated team effort to reduce denials and increase first pass claims payments

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Billing & Collections (Required)
• Previous insurance collections experience with Medicare and Commercial payers
• Prior experience with appeals and denials
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Detail oriented with time management and organizational skills
