Dover Shores Pet Care Center is looking to hire a f/t RVT or experienced veterinary assistant. We are a busy, fast paced, one doctor practice that needs someone who can keep up with our workflow and juggle many tasks at the same time efficiently.
Potential candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

Excellent judgment and communication skills, professional demeanor, maturity, and willingness to work with others.
SKILLS:
- Cephalic and jugular blood draw
- IV Catheter and urinary catheter placement
- In House Diagnostic equipment familiarity
- Radiology (digital radiographs) & Ultrasound
- Pre-op care and prep
- Patient monitoring and post-op care
- Pharmacy: filling prescriptions, measuring medications and labeling containers
- Take instruction from Veterinarian, verbal/written and execute information accurately and efficiently
- Proper animal handling and restraint
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
This position is for EXPERIENCED TECHNICIANS ONLY…please do not send resume if you have less than two years technical experience.
This is a FULL time position.
