Specialist Nutrition LLC is an animal feed company based in Syracuse. We are part of the Irish-owned Arvum Group, which has over a century of experience and success in the agricultural sector.
Due to continued expansion, we are seeking to employ a Logistics Coordinator to join our team and help drive the growth of our operations across the North-East. The role is based at our office in East Syracuse and will coordinate the fulfilment of our sales orders through interaction with our suppliers, haulers, in-house technical sales managers and farmer customers. He or she will ensure that the highest levels of customer service and professionalism are delivered daily in a professional and friendly manner.
The Logistics Coordinator will be primarily responsible for:
- Agreeing and scheduling deliveries to Customers;
- Managing the product delivery process including liaising between suppliers, haulers, sales managers and customers;
- Keeping all activities up to date on our SAP ERP system;
- Ensuring adherence to company quality control and compliance procedures.
Profile:
- Minimum three years’ experience working in a logistics or similar role;
- Strong IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and an ERP Accounts/Logistics system (ideally SAP);
- Confident personality with strong communications skills;
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail;
- Professional English language skills (verbal and written);
- Strong team player and will ideally have experience in a high-volume office environment.
