United Methodist Homes, a non- profit senior living organization serving its -140-year mission to provide relationship-centered care, is currently seeking a Full Time SALSA RN to work in Farmington, CT at our assisted living setting: Middlewoods of Farmington.
This experienced, dynamic candidate will be responsible for:
- Assessment of prospective and current residents
- Completion of and adherence to all QA and State regulations
- Supervision of all Nurses and Certified Nurse’s Aides
- Effective, appropriate and timely communication with all residents, family members, management, staff and vendors
- Oversight of documentation to ensure best practice is being achieved
- Working hand in hand with Executive Director on departmental needs
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a minimum of 2 years full time clinical experience in nursing, at least 1 of which is in a home health agency or community health program that included care of sick at home; or
- Diploma or Associates degree in Nursing and at least 4 years full time clinical experience in nursing within the past 10 years, at least 1 of which is in a home health agency or community health program that included care of sick at home.
- Current R.N. license in the State of Connecticut
- Supervisory experience, preferably in an Assisted Living Community
- Willingness to undergo a complete background check, including physical and drug screen

Qualifications for the $1,000 sign-on bonus includes but not limited to:
- You were offered a position of 30-40 hours per week
- No change in work hours (per offer letter) within the time frame of bonus payouts.
- Successfully hired on or before 10/31/2021
