Guidewell Emergency Doctor Clinics are free-standing outpatient facilities, providing easy access unscheduled care. The IT Sr Systems Engineer is a key component of our internal IT support & project teams, coordinating with third-party IT vendors and our strategic IT partners. In this capacity, he/she will proactively and reactively assist users at the Company with IT-related requests and problems, in addition to helping execute IT projects. He/she will be an knowledgeable resource on a hybrid team of both internal and external technical support professionals tasked with providing direct user support across all Company locations in different cities throughout Florida.

The position will serve as the face and “helping hand” of IT-related systems and technologies to the entirety of a diverse user base from executives to clinicians in a fast-paced and growing outpatient healthcare provider. He/she will quickly gather information in the least disruptive way, evaluate possible solutions, and efficiently implement & test the most likely solution to bring issues to fast and easy resolution.

This position is located at our Headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal and external IT resources for knowledge sharing and information gathering to provide the best experience to the userbase.
Address service issues and requests in a timely manner to meet internal SLA guidelines.
Execute various internal IT projects or initiatives collaboratively or independently as assigned.
Perform various tasks related to maintaining network and data security.
Champion the implementation of existing IT how-to and best practice guides for the organization.
Be available for on-call and travel as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

At least 5 year’s experience in IT support working with a variety of clientele.

Experience managing firewalls and network equipment.
Proven background providing technical support at the network level, including but not limited to, WAN, LAN, routers, firewalls, and security.
Demonstrated experience supporting and troubleshooting current versions of Windows Servers (Active Directory, Terminal Services, SQL, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, PowerShell, and Exchange).
Previous experience working at medical company providing onsite and remote support of hardware, software, servers, and networks.
Ability to manage devices via the Cloud (Microsoft Azure and Office 365).
Windows Server, SonicWall Firewall, and/or Hyper-V or VMware certifications preferred.
A history of solving tech problems independently and remotely while working proactively with 3rd party vendors.
A demonstrated experience troubleshooting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 hosted infrastructure.
Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems, administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.
Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
Healthcare industry experience preferred.
Travel up to 50%
