Requirements/Skills:
Practice located in Miami, Florida – zip code 33155 – must live within reasonable commuting distance
Ability and willingness to perform some general medical office duties
Proven medical assistant experience
Demonstrable Vital Signs & EKG performing skills
Cardiac Device experience a plus
Computer literacy necessary
Experience in using medical software programs a plus
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Superior telephone answering and communication skills required
A genuine interest in the welfare of patients a must
Insurance verification & obtaining authorization for treatment
Excellent Organization skills and ability to prioritize and complete tasks
Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly
Team work is an essential part of working in this practice which is busy, fast paced, highly specialized, requiring someone who is a problem solver, detail oriented, has initiative, is organized and can multitask effectively.
