High school diploma/equivalent.1yr certificate in Dental Assisting/equivalent program. Certified in dental sealant placement & coronal polishing. Must have 24hrs of continuing ed every 2yrs (must include CPR certification). Must have good oral & written communication. Working knowledge of dental/medical terminology, pharmacology & office ops. Annual training on OSHA blood-borne pathogen. Ability to maintain confidentiality & have basic math skills & time management skills.
