Position: Training & Development Supervisor

Scope of position: The role of the Training and Development Supervisor (Call Center) is to supervise the Training & Development Specialist(s) and training coordinator. In addition to guiding the activities involved in the design, planning, distribution and requirements of the training, development and call quality programs for the contact center Member Services area. Approves content, methods, and materials for training team members and may conduct course training on a required or ad hoc basis. Serves as a consultant to advise internal clients on training and development opportunities.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Masters preferred.
  • Minimum of three to five years Proven Training Supervisory experience in call center environment preferred.
  • Proven successful experience in the creation of training curricula for a customer service environment, preferred in a healthcare/health plan setting.
  • Proven Training experience in a classroom and/or virtual setting
  • Experience with Call Center Quality monitoring programs
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, health insurance billing procedures, managed care rules, regulations and industry standards.

You May Also Have:

  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.
  • Experience with Health rules Manager
  • Ability to use general office equipment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Coaching, mentoring and influencing skills.
  • Experience with developing and delivering traditional and non-traditional training programs for the business.
  • Virtual training platform experience a plus.

EQUIPMENT SKILLS:

  • Keyboard
  • Advanced knowledge of personal computers and software
