Responsibilities and Duties (including but not limited to):

  • Monitors the Doctors schedule to ensure all materials/cases are ready on time
  • Monitor the Doctor’s schedule for flow issues and notify the Lead Dental if there are concerns.
  • Maintains infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and operatory.
  • Sets up instrument trays and prepares materials, efficiently and completely
  • Takes patient Blood Pressure
  • Prepares patients for dental work and comforts as needed.
  • Stays chairside with the patient engaging in conversation about their health and the appointment
  • Assists the doctor with dental procedures and anticipates the doctor’s needs.
  • Assists dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
  • Assists dental hygienists with procedures as needed.
  • Monitors patient medical and dental histories and records patient vital signs as needed.
  • Provides postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
  • Fabricates temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
