UHPhealth is a non-profit health and wellness clinic that provides a holistic approach (mind, body, and spirit) to healthy living among less privileged men, women, children, and seniors.
Medical assistant needed for primary care at our Northwest Clinic – 6846 Antoine Drive, Houston, TX 77091 and/or 110 Rockleigh Place, Houston, TX 77017
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with COVID-19 vaccination and testing.
- Check-in and check-out patients.
- Prepare patients for examination, take vitals, and record patients’ health history.
- Assist Nurse Practitioners with medical treatments, procedures, and exams.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES PREFERRED
Working knowledge of the unique needs/dynamics of the client population.
Willingness to work with a treatment team approach.
Ability to communicate effectively with the treatment team.
One year of experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be bilingual fluent in English and Spanish! PLEASE STATE ON RESUME.
Certified Medical Assistant.
