Senior Network IT Engineer
Position:
The Senior Network IT Engineer role is a top-level technical position that specializes in Server and Network administration, Network device management, and Network infrastructure maintenance. Flex Technology Group is a full-service IT Department located remotely throughout northern WI and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This position will be hired solely based upon experience in the IT industry that matches the job description. The employee must live in proximity to Green Bay, WI.
Knowledge Base Requirements:
Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019 Setup and Troubleshooting
Microsoft Directory Services – Including permissions and group policy management
Microsoft Exchange 2013 and 2016
Office 365 Administration and Migrations
Remote Applications/Terminal Services Deployment and Management/VPN Networks
Storage Array and Storage Area Networks Configuration, Management and Troubleshooting
Layer 2 and 3 Switching and Routers
Firewall, UTM and Security Devices
VoIP
Position Requirements:
Advanced routing and network configurations
Active Directory construction and maintenance including OU management
Group Policy creation, assignment and troubleshooting
Windows file access and permissions
Server Role planning, installation, management and troubleshooting
Server Application planning, installation, management and troubleshooting
Build new, or migrate existing virtualization environments to new hardware and technologies
Implement advanced virtualization features
Cloud service implementation, migration and management
PC/Laptop configuration and maintenance
VoIP configuration, installation, and maintenance
Configure multi-site networks to use proper routing protocols for resilience and performance
Configure security appliances/firewalls to best practice security standards and leverage available security services
Day-to-Day Requirements:
Effectively represent Flex Technology Group as a value proposition and suite of offerings
Adhere to client standard operating procedures
Arrive on time or early to the office, client meetings, and training sessions
Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences

Salary: $71,500.00 to $99,100.00 /year (Plus bonus incentives)

From Home in or around Green Bay, WI and surrounding areas, plus onsite at client locations
