Transcription Lead-Health Information Management Full Time Day Shift – Catholic Medical Center – Manchester, NH

This position coordinates and insures the provision of timely quality transcription services to meet clinical care and medicolegal requirements. This position is the point person for interactions with transcription vendors and software vendors for both quality and technical aspects of work product. Job duties require the position holder to perform transcription.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience:

Two or more years of supervisory experience

Medical terminology

Knowledge of charge entry functions

Five years hospital medical transcription experience

• Typing, filing and computer experience
• Minimum of two years’ experience working in a fast-paced medical office or hospital environment
• Cardiology experience preferred
• Understanding of HIPAA & record release requirements
