Responsibilities

The Clinical Sales Executive is an integral member of Pieces Sales Team. We’re looking for people-persons & new business rockstars who enjoy working on a cross-functional and highly ambitious team to deliver. The Clinical Sales Executive will play a vital role in driving revenue for our software & services solutions. . This role reports to the VP of Business Development of the organization.

Duties, responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice. Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Acquire, develop and retain new healthcare accounts

  • Own the entire sales process for the assigned opportunities – discovery scoping, pricing, and closing.

  • Actively problem solve with the Sr Leadership Team (ie. Sales, Client Success, Clinical Services) to strategize on ways to drive the deals forward and close them

  • Assist with lead generation, then follow up to qualify the leads

  • Evaluate prospective customer capabilities and needs, and builds productive long lasting relationships

  • Provide consultation to prospective clients on utilization of the Pieces platform, offering thought partnership on clinical workflows and protocols

  • Develop compelling value propositions for prospective clients and communicate them effectively using multiple communication channels (e.g. calls, emails, in-person and virtual meetings, presentations, etc.)

  • Meet personal and team sales targets

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute on digital lead generation & contents for sales collaterals

  • Work closely with the Client Success team to leverage existing customers’ relationships

  • Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments

  • Utilize personal network to identify and generate sales opportunities for target customers

Requirements

We’re looking for a Clinical Sales Executive who’s passionate about using technology to help the most vulnerable. You’re someone who believes the right data can help build better one-to-one relationships with communities in need of extra support. You have expertise in the following areas:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree. Masters preferred. MBA or other advanced degree graduates (MPH/MHA, etc.) preferred

  • Must have one of the following professional experience:

    • 2-5 years of experience in clinical sales, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets at previous positions, or

    • 2-5 years of experience in healthcare consulting/professional services, or

    • 2-5 years of experience in healthcare system operations (e.g. project management), or

    • 2-5 years of software implementation and/or account management experience; software in a SaaS / Cloud computing environment

  • At least three years of experience in the healthcare or healthcare-related environment highly preferred

  • Strong analytical and quantitative competencies

  • Hubspot CRM experience preferred

  • Tech Savviness and ability to quickly acquire product knowledge

  • Integrity and commitment

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including communication skills

  • Problem solving skills
