Cooking is an art at Waverly Heights, a prestigious Main Line life care community. This full time management position requires advanced culinary skills, including food production, presentation skills, and experience in a la carte and banquet cookery. Position reports to the Executive Chef. Qualified candidates will possess at least 2 years supervisory experience in a culinary environment supervising in a high volume, scratch-cooking kitchen. Strong organization and communication skills are a must.
Daily responsibilities include:
· Supervise kitchen personnel in maintaining a sanitary environment in the Main Kitchen.
· Maintain operational adherence to all food production systems and programs.
· Complete assigned responsibilities in the development and implementation of cycle and always-available menus.
· Supervise kitchen personnel in the preparation and timely turnout of food.
· Conduct production meetings and service review.
