agilon health is seeking a Business Analyst who’ll be responsible for working with health plans to establish and maintain data/reporting that meets the needs of internal agilon customers. You’ll oversee the exchange of data with health plans and related entities in support of data warehouse operations, reporting and analysis, clinical care management, compliance, and financial operations.

How You’ll Contribute:

  • Develop and intensify business relationships with external partners.

  • Immediate escalation of risks, issues and/or concerns to Manager Data Exchange.

  • Execution of projects to establish data exchange processes with various external partners, including health plans, physician organizations, and related entities

  • Obtain data files and reports as specified by the Health Plan Scheduler on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

  • Lead health plan meetings for the purpose of establishing file transfer schedules.

  • Identify and establish scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.

  • Collaborate with Data Warehouse, Clinical Care Management, Finance, and Analytics to develop and execute requirements.

  • Monitor and validate data sources and work with appropriate stakeholders to resolve SFTP and data feed issues.

  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of file and load specifications for various data files for health plans, groups, and government entities.

  • Status reporting for new market implementations.

  • Frequent QA audits to proactively identify and resolve obstacles that may restrict or prohibit access to critical data.

  • Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.

  • Develop and conduct peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or quantitative discipline required

  • 3+ years business or healthcare experience in designing, producing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative analysis outputs

  • Experience working within the medical industry required

  • Direct experience involving the transfer and receipt of health plan and clinical data

  • Demonstrated familiarity in data transfer methods and protocols, SQL, and standard health care data exchange formats strongly preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems
