Case Manager – VISTA Consulting – Huntington Park, CA

If you are a paralegal that enjoys helping clients, and you have 3+years of experience working in a small law firm environment, this opportunity is for you. Our law firm specializes in personal injury and worker’s compensation cases. We are committed to helping our clients with the highest care, professionalism, and high standards. Our firm is a small-office operation of 1 attorney/owner and our office is located in the Huntington Park area. We focus on helping the Spanish-speaking market throughout the area. A great candidate for this position must have:

  • At least 3 years of paralegal experience working with a caseload of at least 30 cases
  • At least 5 years experience of small office administration
  • Extremely professional and client-focuses on the phone and in people skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Highly organized and able to organize a small office
  • Coachable to learn our processes, and a fast learner to then help clients
  • Focused on results and customer service
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google docs

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Answering the phones and doing intake calls with prospects and converting to clients
  • Daily activity of all files, prepare legal documents and correspondence
  • File creation and maintenance
  • Daily follow up with clients on the phone
  • Request medical records
  • Maintain calendars
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, staying on top of deadlines and other important reminders.
  • Filing of court document
  • Interacting regularly with the attorney to move our cases forward and provide timely updates to our clients.
  • Calendaring and scheduling.
