Logistics Support Representative – LaForce – Green Bay, WI

Purpose

LaForce is looking for a Logistics Support Representative to provide support, solutions, and coordination of materials from point of origin to final destination in order to satisfy our customers.

Major Responsibilities

  • Track purchased material with vendors to verify when material is expected to ship
  • Work with production personnel to verify material being produced in-house will be complete and ready to ship when scheduled
  • Keep Sales and Engineering personnel informed of potential delays in the arrival of purchased material related to the production schedule
  • Create internal work orders to coordinate the shipment of contract hardware
  • File freight claims for materials damaged by outsourced carriers
  • Assistant customers in determining shipping status of materials purchased from LaForce
  • Ship confirm orders that have been delivered to customers

Qualifications

  • Associate?s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A Bachelor?s Degree is preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Advanced verbal and written communications skills required.
