Summary:

In this position, you will be responsible for providing the process for ground up financial planning and analysis and company decision making. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple company portfolios while reporting to leadership at our enterprise partner company, Homesite. Implement processes for consistently improving monthly financial and operating reporting, budgeting/forecasting, and financial analysis. Provide analysis and assistance within the overall effort to drive financial planning. Financial liaison to business partners via consistent constructive communication will assist in enabling them to analyze their project expenses, benefits, KPI’s, and conduct effective budget to actual analysis.

This role will be based from a home based office and seeking candidates nationwide.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Lead P&L planning efforts by creating, managing, and coordinating workstreams to develop forecasts and subsequent year plans. Assist in identifying and establishing analytics of revenue/ loss/ and expense results. Collaborate directly with business analysts and spend owners to create overall P&L insights and recommendations, and plan and forecast expense budgets
  • Implement topline analytics to not only assess overall revenue generation, but also tie in key topline levers that display critical impacts to various points of the P&L
  • Lead and drive forecast and planning efforts by creating and managing planning calendar and working through key business partners to adhere to deadlines.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve standard reporting to executive leadership and business partners
  • Assist in the overall AmFam Direct planning process by collaborating and communicating with functions across the organization and enterprise
  • Assist in the process of preparation of internal management reporting on segment and product levels for presentation to senior management on a regular (monthly) basis
  • Contribute to the ongoing efforts to enhance financial modeling to drive decision making
  • Frequent Ad Hoc analysis and special projects

  • Extensive knowledge & understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial statements
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a team and take on new tasks as needed
  • Expert-level MS Excel skills or other data manipulation software (Tableau) is a plus
  • Expert-level MS PowerPoint skills
